Amazon’s Shelfari

Just for fun, I decided to pop over to Shelfari to see what they have to offer.

One of the best things Shelfari has is the ability to import from your Amazon purchasing history. I was rather shocked to see that I picked up 620 books in the last three years. True, most were freebies for my Kindle, but included in the list were 245 books that I actually purchased.

I ended up adding a bunch of Eraserhead Press books I picked up at Bizarrocon last year (29 of them, so I was glad I brought along a carry-on bag for the return flight.)

When that was finished, I popped on over to the author page with my name on it. I added some additional information, plus linked my books and anthologies to my author page.

While I don’t think it will replace Goodreads, I think it was worth creating the account, reviewing a couple of books that were neglected, and making sure my author page had accurate information and links to my website.
